Cicada Magazine Cover

The other day I was contacted by art director John Sandford of Cicada magazine–he received one of my promo cards in the mail with my To Kill a Mockingbird piece on it. He liked it so much that he wants to use it on the cover of Cicada’s next issue! Cicada is a literary magazine for teens/young adults age 14 and up.

He also wanted me to provide some black and white spot illustrations and a full page illustration for the magazine’s ongoing “Spot Artist Extraordinaire” feature. The full page illustration was completely open. I’ll post it to my website when the issue comes out.
